Gavin began his career working in QA and QC Microbiology after attaining an honours degree in Microbiology. Gavin proceeded to gain experience working in a GMP environment with AstraZeneca and EliLilly. While working in the pharmaceutical industry, Gavin gained significant experience dealing with laboratory issues and was involved in preparing for FDA and MHRA audits. Gavin started his recruitment career in 2002 and since then has been responsible for recruiting scientists from bench level to boardroom across a number of scientific sectors. Gavin has also presented to universities and private companies on a number of subjects covering scientific career development and CV coaching as well as effective quills aimed at client companies looking to improve interviewing skills. Gavin is a certified recruitment professional and is happy to advise you if you require help finding scientific employment or are searching for a new specialist to join your business.
