We LOVE science! Our founders are scientists but we are much better recruiters. From having careers in the science industry we felt mis-informed at University and left Science for various reasons. The industries we support are magnificent and have allowed us to be successful, grow as individuals, provide for our families and meet great people and some of these are now friends. When starting the business we wanted to adopt the STEM acronym. We didn’t take this lightly and want to be the source of accurate information on salaries, job roles, how to begin careers in certain areas and answer many other questions. This is the reason we always say YES to Universities and provide workshops and lectures for FREE!
The founding members of STEM were all scientists from Strathclyde, Glasgow and John Moore’s University. Throughout our recruitment careers we acknowledge that the educational aspect of finding a career in science has been missing. Our goal is to support graduates and future STEM professionals make the correct career choices. Over the years we have spoken at AGCAS lectures, Universities, Colleges and more recently we have presented online in support of the Biggar Science festival. Our aim is to empower our network, provide support and advice so that the people we come in contact with can make more informed career choices.
